Tooth-Colored Fillings

Dr. Larison uses tooth-colored fillings for restorations or fillings. Tooth-colored fillings are referred to as “composite restorations”. Composite restorations come in a variety of tooth-colored shades to help blend into your natural tooth. The dentist and dental assistant will work together to choose a shade that looks the most natural to your dentition and masks the fact that the tooth has dental work. The composite restoration will fill the hole created from cavities or decay within the tooth structure. The goal of the restoration is to get as close to the natural durability, strength, and shape of the tooth before the decay formed.
